Sungrow energy storage inverters garner wide attention in Australia

Sungrow, the world‘’s leading PV inverter manufacturer, has successfully held a series of energy storage training roadshows in Australia aimed at promoting its next generation hybrid inverter SH5K+ which has gained wide attention across the continent.

The roadshows, started September 20 hosted by Sungrow Australia Group and its authorized distributor, One Stop Warehouse, comprised of five training sessions across Australia and received significant interest from attendees all over the country.

50MW Solar PV Plant Shaped Like A Giant Panda

United PV and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) have partnered to jointly launch the “Panda Solar Power Plant” that promotes both youth engagement and sustainable development.

The “Panda Solar Power Plant” will be designed and constructed in accordance with the image of “Chinese national treasure” – a giant panda. It will cover a total area of about 1,500 acres, with a total installed capacity of 50 MW. The black part will be composed of monocrystalline silicon solar PV cells, and the grey part will be composed of the thin-film solar cells. The project will be funded and constructed by United PV.

Sungrow increases inverter shipments to Thailand

The Chinese inverter maker has signed another supply deal with the Superblock utility group, bringing its total 2015 shipments to Thailand to 130.5 MW.

Sungrow has signed a second supply agreement with Thai utility group Superblock Pcl for a further 55 MW of PV inverters for multiple solar projects in Thailand.

The deal follows a 75 MW inverter supply agreement the Chinese manufacturer signed with Superblock in June, bringing its total inverter shipments to the Southeast Asian country to 130.5 MW this year.
