Natural Power advises Octopus on 149MW portfolio deal

Leading renewable energy and infrastructure consultancy, Natural Power, has advised funds managed by Octopus Investments (“Octopus”) on the acquisition of a 149MW portfolio of four UK-based onshore wind projects. SMA and Cypress Creek Enter into 10-year Master Service Agreement

SMA America recently signed a 10-year Master Services agreement with Cypress Creek Renewables (Cypress Creek), under which it will perform inverter preventative maintenance services for a portfolio of projects, primarily located in North Carolina. Cypress Creek is a leading solar development company. Working in close partnership with local communities, Cypress Creek develops, builds, finances and operates local solar farms across the country. Onshore wind generates almost a quarter of Northern Ireland’s electricity – RenewableUK

New figures show that onshore wind is powering ahead in Northern Ireland, generating nearly a quarter of its electricity needs. The latest generation figures released by NI Electricity Networks, show that onshore wind has now passed the 1GW milestone, with 1,029MW of onshore wind connected in Northern Ireland.
